Rev. Ron & Sheril Patrick

Associate Pastor

Ron and Sheril met as teenagers in the TPC youth group, and were married in 1985. Ron is a graduate of Apostolic Bible Institute with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. They began their ministry as Youth Pastor in Mayflower, Arkansas, and then spent two years working with orphaned and displaced children at Tupelo Children’s Mansion in Tupelo, Mississippi. In 1992, God led them back home to Fort Smith where they began reinvesting in the church that gave so much to them by serving as Youth Pastor. Ron was elected Associate Pastor in 2006, and he and Pastor Sullivan have grown into a powerful and united team. The Patricks are innately compassionate and they indiscriminately love people. Ron’s kindhearted leadership and consistent example, along with Sheril’s sensitivity and servant’s heart for people, are invaluable to TPC family. Ron and Sheril have two daughters, Staci (and husband, Taylor) and Lexi. The light of their lives is their granddaughter, Eliza, born to Staci and Taylor in 2016.

Bishop B.J. & Sondra Thomas

Pastoral Counsel

TPC is greatly blessed to have Reverend and Mrs. B.J. Thomas as Bishop. Rev. Thomas had a successful military career before being called into the ministry in 1972. He served in various churches across Arkansas before coming to TPC as Senior Pastor in 1981. The Thomases played an integral role in shaping TPC into the bulwark of Truth it is today. Rev. Thomas was a staunch advocate of community involvement, and was awarded the Spirit of the Frontier award by the City of Fort Smith in 2005. He was also a State Chaplain with Arkansas State Police and Arkansas District Superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church International. Rev. Thomas now serves as Bishop of TPC, and is a blessing to Pastors, Churches, and Ministries all across the UPCI.

Rev. Wes & Ashley Robinett

Ministries Pastor

Wesley Robinett is the Ministries Pastor at TPC. He and his wife, Ashley, have served in ministry since their marriage in 2004, working as Student Pastor, Assistant Pastor and Music Director in Searcy, AR, before joining the TPC staff as Student Pastor in 2011. Wesley transitioned to his current role as Ministries Pastor in 2015. In this role, he develops young ministries in the church and leads TPC’s Growth Track class for new members. Wesley is also the church’s liaison to the community, and organizes several community-focused projects each year, mobilizing the church body to be the hands and feet of Christ in this region. Wesley holds an Associate Degree in Theological Studies, is an intense thinker, and loves to teach. He and Ashley have two sons, Weston and Bryston, who are aspiring greeters.

Rev. Levi & Jordan Jensen

Spanish Pastor

Levi and Jordan Jensen pastor Vida, TPC’s thriving Spanish-speaking congregation. The Jensens were teenagers in TPC’s youth group together, and they married in 2010. Their ministry began on TPC’s Youth Staff, and they served in that capacity for two years. Passionate to follow where the Spirit would lead, in 2015 they answered the call to the mission field and spent a year ministering in Barcelona, Spain as Associates in Missions. This experience was a God-ordained training ground for their work with Vida. The Jensens are outgoing, compassionate and determined to see revival in the River Valley. Levi earned an Associate in Business Administration, and also serves as the Arkansas District UPCI Hyphen Director, working with college-age singles. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and serves as Vida’s Music Director. Their son, Asher, made his grand appearance in 2017, and is settling into life as a PK like a champ!

Rev. Marcus & MaryAnne Rogers

Student Pastor

TPC’s Student Pastor, Marcus Rogers, began his ministry in 2012 when he took the role of Student Pastor at his home church in Benton, AR. Marcus married the love of his life, MaryAnne in 2013, and they moved to Fort Smith and took on their current role as leaders of The Crowd, TPC’s exciting Student Ministry, in 2015. Marcus has also served in CMI (Campus Ministries International) at the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith. MaryAnne has called TPC “home” since she was a teenager, and is the music director for The Crowd. Marcus holds an Associate of Arts, and a Bachelor’s in Ministerial Studies. Marcus and MaryAnne welcomed their first son, Denver, in 2017.

Rev. Gary & Stephanie Dycus

Hyphen Director

Gary Dycus and his wife, Stephanie, joined the TPC Church family in 2014 with their 2 boys, Knox and Tatum. Gary answered the call to ministry when he was 20 years old, and served 3 years as a Youth Pastor, a year as a Church Administrator, and 6 years on both the Promotions and Hyphen Committees for the Arkansas District UPCI. Since moving to Fort Smith and attending TPC, Gary has been involved in The Crowd, media ministry, and currently serves as Ministry Advisor for UAFS’s CMI (Campus Ministries International) and currently leads TPC’s local Hyphen group. Gary and Stephanie’s leadership and fun-loving nature are a great asset to TPC’s young adults.

David & Lela Nickell

Christian Education Director

David and Lela Nickell married in 1986, and they have called TPC home ever since, serving in music and children’s ministries. David joined the TPC staff in 2006 and has served in many leadership roles in education, and now serves as TPC’s Christian Education Director. David and Lela are energetic and organized, fun-loving and young at heart, and they have built an impressively engaging children’s ministry. Lela has received an Associate of Arts in Music and Bachelor of Music Education-Vocal, and is an accomplished song-writer, children’s book author, and piano/vocal instructor. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in English, and is also an Adjunct English Professor at both the University of Arkansas Fort Smith and Northwest Arkansas Community College.

Calvin & Courtney Mastin

Children’s Ministry Director

Calvin and Courtney Mastin serve jointly as TPC’s B.L.A.S.T. (Bible Learning Adventure Station) Directors, leading the elementary children’s ministry on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. Calvin grew up at TPC, and he and Courtney both graduated high school from Northside Christian Academy. They married in 2012 and were involved with The Crowd and Hyphen before dedicating themselves to children’s ministry in 2016. Calvin is a detail oriented administrator and a passionate leader, holding a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas. Courtney has earned both a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Arkansas, and has dedicated her life to encouraging and educating children. She is compassionate and tenderhearted to little ones of all walks of life, and they are drawn to her joyful nature.

Elizabeth Mastin

Church Finance Secretary

Elizabeth Mastin has served as the Church Finance Secretary for TPC since 2006. She and her husband, Wendell, are also Greeter Coordinators. Most Sundays you can find them just as you enter the main lobby, and they will be happy to shake your hand and welcome you to TPC! Wendell and Elizabeth have two children, Calvin (and wife, Courtney) and Megan, and her girls are her favorite shopping partners! Elizabeth’s sweet spirit and meticulous attention to detail make her an invaluable asset to the TPC staff.

Kaitlyn Sullivan

Administrative Director

Kaitlyn Sullivan was born into ministry, traveling the United States while her parents evangelized. Kaitlyn learned to serve at a young age, and is currently TPC’s Administrative Assistant while also actively serving in B.L.A.S.T., bus ministry, music ministry and JDC (Juvenile Detention Center) ministry. Kaitlyn received her Bachelors in Psychology from UAFS before moving to Dallas in 2014 to pursue a master’s degree. While completing her second degree, she worked as Administrative Assistant for The Life Church. After graduating with her Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, Kaitlyn moved back home to Fort Smith to continue to support the work of God in the River Valley. Her genuine love for people is evident in every task she undertakes, and TPC is blessed to have her.
